Caught several Lasius claviger queens this year. I've introduced 4 to host workers and brood and they seem to have accepted each other so far.
Will the queens lay this year, or after diapause?

I was told they lay after. I have a couple of queens too that I'm putting in diapause first before trying to introduce them to workers come next spring. I might come to you for Lasius brood at that time if you are willing.
