Potato camera.

 

1. Location of collection: Toronto, Ontario

2. Date of collection: Sep 11, 2019
4. Length: 6mm from head to gaster
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture: Dark brown

 

Smells like citronella. :D

I just realized in the bunch one of the queens looks a little different from the others.

ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHER, ONE OF THESE QUEENS ARE A LIGHTER COLOR.

Coloration is more similar to Lasius aphidicola, but these look bulky enough to be L. claviger.

 

edit: lighter one could be Lasius subumbratus

I can feel comfortable with Lasius claviger, but the lighter one is definitely not Lasius murphyi.
