What is the Small black ant that gets into your house ? I’m new and was curious of the “scientific” term for them, thanks 🤙
Also I’m not sure how’s to add photos to these threads

At a guess I would say they are Tapinoma sessile as they are very common house invading ants in the Eastern US.

Could also be Brachymyrmex patagonicus.

Yea I agree with brachymyrmex patagonicus. I am currently keeping a colony of those with 40 workers... they grow fast!
