They are fairly easy to care for. Not too different from other Camponotus spp., despite them being considerably smaller. A diet of protein and liquid sugar will suffice. They aren't very picky when it comes to housing, nearly any formicarium that is an appropriate size will be fine, but it is worth noting that they like their nest a bit drier than some species. They are also mostly nocturnal so feeding in the afternoon/evening is recommended.
