I am located in San Diego, CA and will ship within state or do local pickup (shipping paid by customer). I will continually update this post so if it says a species is available, it is. Ants will be contained in test tube setups unless specified otherwise. Please PM me if interested.

Those aren't Pogonomyrmex at all, they are Solenopsis xyloni. Pogonomyrmex californicus don't make majors either :).

Shoot, the fact about the majors is totally right. I'm interested as to how you guys knew from that they were actually Solenopsis?

Its really obvious, pogonomyrmex and solenopsis have completely different body shapes and proportions

Well, maybe they are more similar than I give them credit for, but if you have a decent amount of experience its easy to tell the difference, for one there is a size difference, by a few mm
