2. Date of collection: 9/5/19, day after thunderstorm
3. Habitat of collection: Desert scrub/oak forest next to stream
4. Length: #1: 5.5mm #2: 10mm
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture: #1: Dull redish-orange all across body, bald as far as I can tell. #2: Shiny black all across body, small hairs on thorax and especially on rings around gaster.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: #1: Single spine on thorax, two petiole nodes. #2: Hard to determine but probably one petiole node.
7. Anything else distinctive: #1: Will not settle down in test tube setup. #2: Sits calmly in test tube setup even when disturbed.
8. Nest description: Neither collected at nest
9. Nuptial flight time and date: #1 was for sure flying on the day of collection, I didn't see any alates of #2.
