Are plastic test tubes safe for ants?

Yes plastic test tubes are safe for ants. They are cheaper but I love viewing the ants themselves so if you want to view them glass is better but plastic is good and cheap

The only problem with the plastic tubes is water seems to evaporate at a higher velocity than in glass
