1. Location of collection: Calgary AB Canada
2. Date of collection : August 27 2019

3. Habitat of collection: Beside a ravine and close to a pond
4. Length: 3mm
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture: Black and sort of red brown
 

Couldn't get better pics with my phone so here is a video and a pic for scale. Scroll through the video to see better angles.

Exact ID will be hard with what's given but I'm just looking for a general idea.

Any tips for taking better ID footage appreciated.

Potentially Myrmica, but getting it down to even a genus ID is tedious with this video.
