5. Dark brown head and gaster, lighter reddish in the middle. Shiny overall.
6. These were the same size as Tapinoma sessile, but were clearly different
7. Alate males were scuttling about the workers. Males were notably smaller than workers.
8. Nest: In soil and leaf litter.
9. Nuptial flight: They seemed ready to on 8/25 at around 7:00pm because lots of winged males were scuttling about.
