Do ants like maple syrup?

Since maple syrup is sweet, does that mean it's a good food for ants, and is it safe for them? Thanks!

Generally speaking, I'd imagine it to be perfectly fine for ants. I use the Aunt Jemima brand and my Crematogaster absolutely loved it the one time I gave it to them. It should be alright.

Yes it is good but you may want to dilute it with some water (50%-25% syrup). Many ants don't like stuff that is too viscous.

Ants don't like Marple syrup, they love it.
