I am selling off some of my colonies because life has gotten a little busier. I was hoping to keep these until they matured a lot more but my loss is your gain.
I have 3 CA-02 queens, with around 5 workers, and lots of brood in a Tar Heel Ants Type 3 Fortress.
- CA-02 is the one of the largest ants available to us in southern california.
- They have long legs, mostly matte black head and thorax and orangish, yellowish, reddish, brownish gasters.
- Each fortress has cotton in place to block access to the middle and upper chambers until they have more workers.
- I have kept them away from a heating lamp/cable because I wanted to keep their population growth down since I was out of the country.
- The nests cost over 80, not counting shipping. And I'm charging 70 for the colony which is MORE than fair especially because only a small number of people even have this species.
I am selling each colony for $150.
