1. Location of collection: Central Missouri

2. Date of collection: 8/16/19
3. Habitat of collection: farmland/ forest/ parking lot.
4. Length: 7mm
5. Coloration: redish-orange brown? not sure lol
6. Distinguishing characteristics :

9. Nuptial flight time and date: not sure on her flight time but I got her at 7:30pm on 8/16/19

not sure what she is can anyone help me?

As antpsycho said, that is a pheidole queen. They are fully claustral and have crazy polymorphism in workers.

She's most likely Pheidole pilifera going off of size, coloration, and head shape.

How exciting! Always wanted a pheidole colony! Found her getting off of work in the parking lot, my job is surrounded by corn field and some wooded area. Hope she makes it. Thank you
