Hi, Kumud here from Delhi India. I am from Assam in India, a place filled with forests and greens, and as a Kid i used to keep ants and feed them sugar, although i never knew anything about them. Recently the interest kicked back, and would love to have a formicarium.

Currently reading up on ants.

Have a particular interest in Oecophylla smaragdina (Weaver ants) although i think it will be quite hard to keep them as they are tree dwelling.

Would love to connect with everyone around the world and the people from Delhi who have interest in ants and may have a formicarium.

Welcome! You have access to many super cool ants!

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Welcome! I was actually born in New Delhi while my parents were posted there. Would love to visit again someday.
