Cedar Rapids, Iowa USA. I found several of these queens on 8/6/19. I witnessed a nuptial flight of these queens around 6 in the evening, just sitting on the porch in the back yard. They are only 5 mm long. I was thinking acorn ant?

looks to me like solenopsis molesta, but don't take my word for it.
