Well I guess I'm gonna give this another try. I just collected two more queens in Landcaster, CA over the weekend. I dug up tons of their founding chambers, but they are so tiny it's almost impossible to find them in the dirt.

Their gasters look pretty fat, could be promising for sugar or protein storage.

Well, they failed three years ago, and I tried them again this year and they failed as well.
