Not really
Crematogaster cerasi/lineolata now have 20 workers! I have yet to check on all my other colonies but will tomorrow.
Woke up early this morning to black light and caught these they are all in between 4 to 6 mm.

If anyone has any clue what species they are just respond with the corresponding number, please!
Crematogaster cerasi/lineolate now have close to 30 workers will be moving them to a tubs and tubes setup soon.
My most recently caught tortuganus queen now has larvae so she is definitely fertile. And last night I caught another tortuganus queen on my blacklight as well.
Sorry, I copied and pasted from a document I had all the image links on. Hope it isn't to much of a trouble to open the individual links. if it is don't be afraid to let me know.
6 is Solenopsis molesta
I was thinking carolinensis. Isn't molesta darker?
Actually after taking a closer look carolinesis don't have the dark spots on their head and thorax. Thanks!
I'm about to be shipping my Camponotus tortuganus to a guy I sold it to. How do you guys go about shipping your ants. And yes he's in Florida.

They tend to have many different color variations.
"God made..... all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds (including ants). And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:25 NIV version

Formica cf. pallidefulva, cf. incerta, cf. argentea
Formica cf. aserva, cf. subintegra
Myrmica sp.
Lasius neoniger, brevicornis
I typically sandwich their tubes between two pieces of foam, then tie it up with a rubber band. Then I just stuff it in a box, and toss in a cool pack if it's hot.
Ok, I'll do that but ill fill the box with packing peanuts too
SO I woke up early this morning again and caught close to 35 new queens and a majority of the ones I caught yesterday now have eggs! I'm kinda overwhelmed to say the least, but its hard to pass up a queen. How do you guys go about storing an abundance of test tube setups? Pics would be good, but if not that's fine.
And the queens I caught were Pheidole navigans, Pheidole metalascens, Pheidole floridana and Solenopsis carolinensis.
i meantthe workers are metallic blue or green

Oh, sorry now that I look at them they are kinda blue. That's pretty cool!
Definitely not the greatest pics but these look really cool!
i really want some, alex wild illuminates their color really well.
Ya, I imagine if i had better lighting and probably a better camera I could to cause it seems they illuminate really easily. If you were in Florida i'd ship you some cause i've got close to 30 now
