Original thread, for context: http://www.formicult...th/#entry121027

Much of what was answered today will permanently change the ant keeping hobby.

Thank you to everyone for posting your questions on such short notice and I'm really grateful our community was able to be responsible, responsive and mature  :D

Thank you to Armando for helping us set this up, and of course thank you Dr. Blanco for fielding our questions and being so open and accessible!!

We have community members transcribing the interview right now, as well as a couple providing cliff notes, which I'll add to this as soon as it's available.

This is a huge thing for US antkeeping and it's amazing that Dr. Blanco was willing to share his time with us and establish a direct line with a petkeeping community. Huge thanks to Dr. Blanco and Armando!

If only something like this was possible in my country.

We should respect all forms of consciousness. The body is just a vessel, a mere hull.
