Can’t remove cotton ball from tube

I’ve watched he videos of how to do this.
Tube has been soaking for 2 weeks.

I can not get the wet cotton ball out.

I don’t want to break the tube. I need it!!

I have a long steel bbq skewer that usually works. But not this time.

Get a long wooden bbq scewer. Break it in half so the fibers show. Poke the fibers into the cotton and twist, it will grab onto the cotton.

Took 2 bamboo skewers breaking each many times but I got it out.
