Welcome to my ant adoption page! I will ship ants anywhere within California  :yahoo:! Buyer pays for shipping. Buyer must understand the risks of shipping. All ants are usually shipped through USPS (United States Postal Service) priority mail. All payments are done through Paypal. Payment will always be through Friends & Family as not to cause any extra fees and to prevent scam.

Formicaria & Ant Keeping Supplies - SHIPS ANYWHERE IN THE U.S (Shipping done via USPS Priority or Ground ; Buyer pays for shipping) PM me if interested!

Firebrick Nests (Very similar to AAC or Ytong)

The moisture retentive properties of firebrick lead to stable humidity levels while insulative properties help keep temperature fluctuations to a minimum (similar to the underground). The material is much more ant friendly than acrylic or plastic nests as it's porous surface makes it easy for all species to grip onto and allows a healthy amount of airflow. Glass is custom cut for every formicarium in order to ensure a perfect fit. All of my formicaria are designed to be compatible with most North American ant species that have basic founding needs. All formicaria can be hydrated via pipette or syringe. 5 inches of 3/8" tubing and a pipette is included with every order. Removable glass is optional  (PM me for details).

Founding Formicarium 25$available - (More can be made to order) Roughly 4.5" x 4.5" x 2"Each formicarium is hand made so each one is unique

The Solenopsis xyloni there is a Crematogaster sp.

Actually it is definitely Solenopsis xyloni; these little guys do have their dorsal petiolar nodes which excludes Crematogaster.

Grabbed the only Pogonomyrmex rugosus that AntPhycho had. She arrived in great shape, considering it was 102 the day when she arrived. I also picked up a little formicarium from AP, that the new queen took right to. It has great visibility, and i can already imagine my Solenopsis invicta in there with her workers and large brood.

I am quite positive as one of the only spots Californian Lasius niger has been documented is where I found these. Measurements + appearance seems almost identical.
