i bought a lasius neoniger and a lasius americanus the neoniger has 4 workers and americanus just brood but the neoniger queen died (i think i just unboxed them* but her front legs are twitching and the ants are grooming her

since lasius neoniger and americanus are similar and related i want to know if i can give the americanus workers (there is one callow and one mature larvae)

if i do give her workers i will probably give her the larvae first if she accepts it then ill give her the callow

I wouldn't give her workers. She will do fine without them.

update 2 i placed in the callow and they seemed fine 2 minutes later i put then I'm the fridge and took them out 5 mins later and after they warmed up the queen started attacking the worker so i separated them

if you plan on trying something like this always be watching and be able to separate them at all times
