honey water ratios?

Also how would i make small amounts that fit onto tin foil for small colonies

I would just use sugar:water in a 1:3 ratio.  It's cheaper than using honey for that.

the care sheet for crematogastor cerasi sais they don't like it

I don't believe that to be true, they should readily accept sugar water.
