I caught two Camponotus pennsylvanicus. queens today; One of them had eggs, I got the ones I could see(i found three of them and put them in container after getting her, though I assume she ate one as I only found two afterward).
The second one I caught I didn't notice any eggs. Both are in a bigger sized fish tube, so they can move easier;
One end has water in it and both ends have cotten balls at the end and end the dark. Will this setup be fine, also is there a concern with getting oxygen in there?
I've seen mention of warmer room to keep them in, but I am afraid if I put them in a room that doesn't have A/C they will get too hot, as I use A/C units in rooms that I stay in and live in a mobile home, so inside may get hotter than what it is outside. I keep the room I am in around 73 or so..
Checking on the one that has the eggs, looks like she is trying to figure a way to get past the cotton
