Hi, found this queen today when I was flipping up some mulch around my tree. The mulch is a very moist environment, so I’m sure she was all cozy when I disturbed her, but I figured there’s a chance that she isn’t tapinoma sessile, so I decided to keep her. She was found today June 18. She is 5 mm long, she is pure black, and she is very calm. It was evening when I found her, but I doubt that they had a flight just now, as I feel she had been there for a little while. Also, I live in Jasper Indiana. All I want to hear is that it isn’t tapinoma sessile.
