That's what I said, clay that has not been through the baking process is what I was assuming you meant by air drying. Baking clay not only for drying it, it is what makes the clay harden and not turn mushy when exposed to water.

Exactly. I have used the air dry clay before in my out-worlds. If it gets wet, it will start to turn into a "mushy" mess. Grout is your best friend.
