So far this summer I have Caught a tapinoma sessile queen with 2 tetramorium, iI let my big formica colony go due to space, too big and required too much drank a 2 whole bottle caps of sunburst nectar per day. I went ant hunting in the woods with my dad, and found a beauty of a colony of temnothorax right under some bark.
My Camponotus modoc is currently my favorite ant colony, they are so interesting to watch and eat anything under the sun. they are at 80-90 workers at the moment and have some really big majors, They always have at least 6-10 workers in the out world and i even watched them take down a full grown earwig! really happy with this summer and excited for formica and brachymyrmex depils flights
