1: found in my driveway(Stratford Ontario Canada)

2 :found early may wingless

3: habitat, farm fields and grasslands stream 500m away

4:6mm? penny for ref in pics

5: dark brown with light brown legs

I've got a tonne of lasius "citronella" ants around my house

 

If this is a lasius parasitic queen would those workers be a viable host?

Thanks, any insight into the possibility of using  "citronella" ants as a host species?
