I am attempting to find worker ants that would go well with my queen lasius umbratus. 

 

1. Location of collection: Maryland

3. Habitat of collection: Under a rock in a forested area
4. Length: 6mm
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture: Black head and abdomen red thorax and red legs
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Abdomen is pointed down two sections of antennae typical mandibles
7. Anything else distinctive: Pretty normal

8. Nest description: On the surface under a rock

9. Nuptial flight time and date: N/A

won't work. Look up lasius and try to find workers similar to those.

Those were Myrmica. Looks similar to M. incompleta.
