I have a large colony of Trachymyrmex septentrionalis I collected this weekend, and they had two large fungus chambers upon collection, each about the size of my two fists. However, the fungus has decreased dramatically in size to about the size of my thumb nail. I'm hoping that it regrows, especially once I get them into the formicarium I had planned for them, but just in case, I need some back-up fungus for them. If anyone has an Attine (excluding Cyphomyrmex as they farm yeast), I would appreciate it if you could lend me some fungus for these ants. I don't need too much, just enough to keep this colony healthy. PM me if you could send me some.
