1. Location of collection: Northern Virginia, USA 
2. Date of collection: 11th of September
3. Habitat of collection: Wood/Dirt mix between a plastic storage container and stone floor.
4. Length (from head to gaster): 3-4mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Brownish-orange.

Check measurements, but she looks like some type of smaller Camponotus.

New to this - I believe the workers are 4mm head to gaster and the larger one is about 8mm head to gaster.

Your measurements are off. Those are Camponotus chromaiodes. One of my favorite Camponotus.

Edit: the minors should be 6-7 millimeters and majors 8-15 millimeters.
