Well I tried to do some black lighting in Trabuco Canyon last night and had some crazy person jump in front of my truck swinging a giant stick around yelling at the top of his lungs for me to slow down, while I'm driving about 20 MPH... After avoiding that weirdo, I arrive and set up my black light. It wasn't more than 15 minutes later that a CHP showed up and in a very nice way asked me to leave. It went something like "Pack up your stuff and get out of here!" "You can't be parked on this road".
Eight years of doing this, and I have never had anyone tell me to leave before. I think what's happened is the people that live along the first mile of that road are so fed up with all of the off-road posers driving like maniacs up and down that road, that they're now just kicking everybody out. I get the enforcement of their road laws, but since when can glorified CalTrans with guns just kick you out of the National Forest?
That sucks, I think it is part due to the virus fears , at least in part.

Yeah, people can be weird. Don't have too much of that around here, just a lot of homeless guys and hitchhikers waving signs along freeway exits..........

Yeah, I ended up driving all the way to Ortega Hwy to find some other place, but every parking lot is closed off due to the virus. Thousands upon thousands of people piling into buildings to buy unnecessary stuff, but it's a parking lot in the middle of the forest where the virus is going to be spread...
Looks like the monsoon season may be arriving right on time this year.
Well that sucks.

Say what?
Nuptial flight triggers suck?!Well that sucks.
