Progress
Odontoponera queens are the last queens surviving until few days ago I caught another queen. One of them volunteered to live in a formicarium and outworld setup and lived mainly in the tunnels. There seems to be a decent amount of insects around. Main concern now is water supply wait refuses to go back to the test tube. Good thing there's water vapor.

Update: I'm a failure. One of the odontoponera queens died. Only 1 queen remains. If that one dies, it's over.

Any idea for what caused the death?

don't worry you can probably catch more considering you catch so many ants in your house.

Guess: dehydration, lack of oxygen or poisoning. The formicarium is usually kept shut. Water situation is not so good as I usually let it drink on water vapor or moist. I froze the insects

Was the nest ventilated in any way?

What about the Solenopsis and Odontomachus?

Honestly, considering you being in the Philippines, I don't see how the death of a few odontos is so bad.

Nuptial flights are never over in the tropics. They fly year round.

That’s cool. I think you need to find some really easy queen like Solenopsis or something, though.
