This is my dart frog vivarium. I've had the frogs for about a year and the vivarium setup for 4 months longer. The species is called Ranitomeya imitator and have evolved to look like their poisonous cousins. "Chazuta" is the area in which they specific strain were collected. My pair were breed locally and infact they have a froglet of their own and a couple of tadpoles in the water too.

The male.

They eat a staple diet of flightless fruit flies which I culture, along with mineral/vitamin suppliments and springtails. What's neat is that this species will lay eggs on leaves and then transport the hatched tapoles to bromeliads. The female is then enticed to lay unfertilized eggs to feed the tadpoles.

Very cool! This is something I have been wanting to do for a while now. What are the orange tubes for?

They are pill bottles which are used as alternate tadpole sites.
