Yea...i had 2 Solenopsis richteri, 4 Tetramorium immigrans, and 1 Camponotus pennsylvanicus queen in a box. A mouse chewed a hole got in and pulled the cotton on all but 2 of the Tetramorium. I was pissed that day...needless to say I had a war with the mice...and i won! Lol

The large colony has some small larvae! The smaller one has one large larva and a few dozen orange eggs. :)  I found a huge S. xyloni colony in my yard today! I will have to check the neighborhood pools this summer.

Colony #1 has moved out of the cork nest, and into a wooden one. They have I'd say around 60-65 workers, and over 20 eggs and small larvae, and 50 pupae of various sizes.

Queen #3 is doing surprisingly well. I caught her in a flight a few weeks back, and she is extremely physeogastric, and has a bunch of eggs.

Colony #1

They have a nice brood pile of about 200 pupae, larvae and eggs. A new major eclosed, and is a bit smaller than the largest major which is 8-9 millimeters. Lots of new minors and medians too. :yahoo:
