Hey guys anyone with fragilis colony. Have u ever had a major as big as thw quewn? aroumd 11 to 12mm. This major was grown when i was feeding them kefir yougurt. Same with my novomessor. Which gave a worker 1 or 2mm shorter than the queen. I'm gonna start giving them kefir again. To see if that was the reason. for the over grown super major workers. Since i stop feeding them kefir. not a single super majors has been born. Just normal sizes majors. Of 11 to 12mm novomessors, and 10mm fragilis majors. Of i do find out that kefir. a very high concentrated form of protein. Was responsible. I.moght start selling it if anyone wishes massive workers. Testing starts today. For 2 months

How is the project going?

Update 3/17
Brood inventory: 24 pupa, 2 major pupa, 17 larvae, 12 small, 10 eggs

Been a little busy, sorry for the late updates. Not much has changed, but I’ll need a new formicarium soon. The new journal is still in progress; haven’t had much time to work on it. Pics might come today, or Monday.
