Nah, too lazy and I don’t really care. They drink the extra nectar drops on my desk, and eat the junk and put in a tub that was their old nest, so its a win-win. Plus, I need to convince my parents for a better ant desk, so selling it won’t be a bad idea lol.

Wait... They died?

No, they squeezed through the ventilation hole, because they are Myrmentoma Camponotus . The hole was too small for larger Camponotus , so they are currently located in my desk, if you still want to buy, I’ll let you buy the entire desk and the colony for $400.

FYI Ant_Dude2908, S. Invicta are nowhere close to being established in California. They are found in small populations in Southern California, but that is all.

9/10 places in CA are free of them, let's hope it stays that way .

Update 4/17/19

 

Camponotus fragilis

 

5 pupa, 4 larva, 10 eggs

 

I fed them a cricket and one of the cricket's legs turned pink.

One fragilis cocoon enclosed the worker was a light pink... It died few hours later, a few more larva were fed some of this pink cricket leg, can someone help m
