I am considering getting a Tetramorium Bicarinatum colony party due to the fact that the number of queens can supposedly grow from their own alates but I imagine it is not that simple? Small gene pool etc. If starting with multiple queens does this make better chance of some diversity? Has anyone actually had their colonies supplemented by homegrown queens?
Thx!
