Hi, I'm Jean and I've posted a few times on "Ant ID" threads. I got into ant hunting and ant keeping a few months ago, after watching an Ants Canada video when I was researching cockroach habits. Through the GAN project I adopted/bought one queen and four workers so am hoping she does well. So far, so good. She is a crematogaster cerasi. I don't know anyone else who is into this hobby and I try not to talk about it because before I got into it and would try listen to bird watchers rattle on naming birds, I found it kinda odd and tended to space out. This board is terrific and am thankful to have found it!

Welcome to the forum!
Unlike the general population the people here are normal, we talk about ants, termites, crickets, cockroaches, mealworms, mantids, tarantulas and more and appreciate the wonders of nature no matter how small! :)
