Heya,
Looking for a starter colony of any easy but interesting species, I have one L. brevicornus queen that's in hibernation currently (I actually found her getting ready for hibernation I guess). I'm located in southern maine!
Hoping to keep it affordable, new to the hobby for ants but deep in the isopod hobby.
Thanks.

Hi Perseus! Welcome to the hobby! I have some extra Camponotus and Formica available. I am located in South Portland. If you are interested feel free to drop me a PM. I would probably recommend the Camponotus sp.. if you are just starting out. Growth rates are pretty slow on the Camponotus. sp.. but they are a great starter ant otherwise.
