Tree branch nest of a strobe moving Iridomyrmex species.
I killed that roach from nearby and dropped it there
They are about 7mm in length, so just about as big as meat ants, Iiridomyrmex purpureus, but move in a Strobe ant fashion, and can also move in a typical erratic and fast Iridomyrmex fashion like the smaller species.
Been looking for their queens, which I believe are about 12mm in length, but so far no luck.
Someone I know has found a queen of these with a leg missing
