Hello,
Lets try this again, I am nepenthes. I use that screen name because since I was 15 (around the same time I got into ants) I grew carnivorous plants. Nepenthes is a genus of carnivorous plant, aka the "Monkey Cup" or "Tropical Pitcher Plant". Any ways, I've been keeping ants off and on since I was 15/16 years old, so about 8 years now. I currently am working on my associate of sciences, and plan on transferring to OSU. I want to study entomology. I am currently volunteering at the OSU insectary and focus my attention on their ant colonies and Scolopendra dehaani (Giant Vietnamese centipedes).
Any ways, I currently have:
Ants (These are all colonies I have started this year)-
Camponotus pennsylvanicus
Formica
Lasius species
Teminothorax curvisponisus
Tetramorium caespitum sp's
Tarantulas
Brachypelma vagans
Psalmopoeus cambridgei
Centipedes
Scolopendra dehaani
Ethmostigmus trigonopodus
Any ways, I don't have much time to post, but I will find time to pop in and will probably mostly lurk. Schools busy. And FYI your supposed to italicize or underline scientific names .
