attaching 3D printed nests with magnets

The person that sells one of the outworlds I use, which has the grommets for a test tube, has a made a 3D printed nest that attaches via magnets

pretty nifty design, although I don't like the nest pattern, prefer more flat surfaces and straight floor

it looks like several layers were printed and glued together
