Laying Log

Created this formicarium out of Fire Brick and used some sculpting clay to give it a little wood look. I ran out of scuplting clay but had enough to do this and happy how it came out.

Western Collard Ant (Aphaenogaster oc...

I got a colony of Western Collard Ant (Aphaenogaster occidentalis) with a huge brood and about 18 workers. Had them in a smaller nest but chambers were too big so I built them a nest out of Firebrick (Like Ytong).
