This is the second-most common Pheidole I find. Also they fly just after sunset. Very orange, but quite similar to the most common species - the orange color does darken over months but not nearly to the point where it looks like the brown/black and red bicolored ones. There are subtle differences in the size - this one tends to be 5.25 mm whereas the others are almost always exactly 5 mm. Also the spines on the mesosoma are slightly different - will try to do some microscopy on them.
