It looks almost Dolichiderine. I’m sort of thinking an Argentine ant or a relative, (maybe Tapinoma melanicephalum?) but I’m not entirely sure for your area. I’ll look it up in more detail later. If ou could get another picture more directly from the side, it would help immensely.

Technomyrmex difficilis, a highly polygynous species that could work for your acrylic formicarium if you find a queen.

It's worth noting this is a worker.
I agree with Manitobant.

Yeah, if these are anything like our Tapinoma sessile, it should be pretty easy to find a trail or nest of these with multiple queens. Try putting a candy bar or something in a bucket near where you find them. Some queens might show up, and you can move them right from that bucket into your formicarium.
Currently keeping:
Tetramorium immigrans, Pogonomyrmex occidentalis
Myrmica punctiventris, Formica subsericea
Formica pallidefulva, Aphaeogaster cf. rudis
Camponotus pennsylvanicus
Camponotus nearcticus
Crematogaster cerasi
Temnothorax ambiguus
Prenolepis imparis

Another question: why do I find a lot of technomyrex that are way smaller than the one I find? They look the same as the one I found but smaller

Ant species in the same genus can look very different from each other.
